If we are talking about everyone else... as funny as that would be people will probably still say it sucks even if it's great because people feel like they should hate Eminem because of who he is instead of forming an opinion on him through his music itself.

There are some real gems in Monster, this song is lyrical. I've elevated it to 8/10 on third listen. And now, no more listens until the whole CD is out.

I am not hopeful for some of it.. I will be honest.. But with Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre (though he maybe compromised by yes-men) in the studio surely some of this production will be in line with THEIR legacies.. AND, Eminem is still a beast on the mic.. there is no doubt about that. Lyrically and technically he is still ridiculous, especially in a age of ignorant rap.. BUT musically I am still concerned about Monster and Survival.. Do I have my doubts, yes.. BUT I have said umpteen thousand times I am hopeful and there are good signs to be taken from each song.. I wont judge it 'til I hear.. but all I can be now is skeptical.
