Exactly And I will defend this like i did with Survival. This song is good, yes we all know it's not the most perfect song from Em, but it's still good. When people say TM or Survival sound nothing like MMLP is probably because that's not what Em wanted for this album. And yes he did said that he was revisiting or something like that, he might of meant that he was revisiting how he felt back then, not exactly how his songs sounded. And how can you guys hate on something you haven't even heard? We only have 4 out of 20 new songs. Lets wait and see how this turns out.

I'll be honest. I like the hook and first verse. Fuck it. I LOVE the hook. But see, I'm not disapointed at all because I didnt set my expectations too high, I expected something like this. I havent read the rest of the thread, but some of the people with the OP perception need to do two things.
1. Calm down
2. Open their eyes.

Now, there are 2 sorts of people. Those who formulate their opinion and stick to it. And those that follow other people's opinions. Guess_who, Me, charlottemathers and a few other people never minded Eminem's pop sensibility. When Survival came out, we liked it. With this one, we might like it. But at no point does a song being "pop" make it better or worse.

Conversely, there is Amadeo, Emineminsider, Eminembase et al that want "raw, dark, uncompromising, smooth flow" Eminem on this album and hence respond accordingly. Some of these people like Survival as a track but were very vocal on how it did or did not fit on the album.

And then, there is a sea of 100 stans who cannot form an opinion and are sheep. "Eminem is back." "Eminem fell off" "This album will suck" "This album will be amazing" based off one song. Ya'll get worried about such people... and really, you shouldnt.
