I hate the "Ohh, oh Ohhh" part in the hook

I truly think this album will have very few radio friendly song. The Headlights song, and I guess another one somewhere else on the album. Maybe So Far, or So Much Better. Aside from that, I'm not seeing it.

With a lot of tracks exceeding 5 minutes, some exceeding 6, and names like "Evil Twin," "Asshole," "Bad Guy," -- I'm not getting a very radio friendly vibe.

I really think this album is going to blow people away. We've only heard 4 songs out of 20.

Look at Recovery. All we had to go by at leak time was Not Afraid and WBD.

Who knew we had Cold Wind Blows, Almost Famous, So Bad, Seduction, On Fire, Cinderella Man, 25 to Life, Untitled, Talkin 2 Myself waiting for us on the album?

We still have Legacy, Bad Guy, Evil Twin, Love Game, Brainless, Rhyme Or Reason, and 10 others to look forward to. Certainly there will be some gems in there.

Well, one could argue that The Monster is controversial too, just in a way you didn't expect. The fact that he named a track "The Monster" and has it sounding like this is controversial in itself with. I don't get it. When Rap God dropped, people went "I hope Eminem gives us an emotional track on MMLP2!" and he gives you one.. but now, nobody's satisfied. The beat is great, the verses are very sharp, and the hook is great. No, it's not a perfect song, I hate the "Ohh, oh Ohhh" part in the hook and yeah, it could've been darker. A lot darker. But everyone wanted an emotional song, and got one. The song's made to get a buzz, Berzerk and Rap God were more of the core fans (debatable with your opinion, but whatever) and this song will be the song that gets charted quickly. I get you might not like it, you're free not to like it. I'm just being optimistic, because there's no fuckin way Eminem made an album of songs like "The Monster" when Survival, Rap God, and Berzerk don't even sound the same. There's still about an album left of songs we haven't heard. 16 tracks. (We're counting Deluxe.) There's still a lot of hope for this album.

Sing for the moment is emotional shit that is 150 percent better then this so called emotional track. The lyrics make me feel nothing, like zilch.

I forgot how shitty the first two Recovery songs were. Those two are a 4/10 combined.

And look at Relapse. We Made You, 3am, Old Time's Sake, Beautiful at the time of release. Beautiful was extremely out of place (like Monster might be here), he went off on 3am (like Rap God in this case), We Made You was Berzerk (although Berzerk is better imo), and Old Time's Sake. Looking at it, those songs don't mesh very well stylistically either.

But you still had SWA, Underground, SSAD, Deja Vu, etc on the album.

Eminem does not put his gems out before the album is released. His best tracks are always the non singles.

People need to chill thinking this will be the worst album of his career and shit.

And this is why it's apples and oranges in the end. What one person loves, another may hate. Only reason why people are in such an uproar is because it's Eminem, who reached a height even he might not even be able to get back to. Doesn't help that his fans are about as bad as his critics either.

Well of course it's miles better lmao, but that's not what I'm trying to say. It might not hit you, but best believe it does help other people, like Horsebot. By no means am I comparing this to Stan or SFTM, what I'm saying is.. people wanted something personal from him, and they got it. Whether you like it or not, well that's really up to you.

Exactly. People can say Stan too, but Stan wasn't released before the album. TRSS and TWIA were. Did he release Kim as a single? No. Did he release I'm Back as a single? He probably wanted to. Did he release Remember Me or Bitch Please II as a single? No. People need to relax. This is exactly what happened with Relapse. Everyone got all up in a fit, then made Em go "Well shit, I guess they don't like this" and went for Recovery. Then as soon as Recovery drops and time goes by, "OH YOU KNOW WHAT DAWG? RELAPSE IS FIRE!" Smh. Oh yeah, you faggots just HATE The Monster and think the album is gonna be WOAT but won't hesitate to download that leak as soon as it comes out though.

Besides, theres bound to be a couple of the bonus tracks that outweigh Survival and The Monster. So people will just replace the bonuses with Survival & The Monster. Simple as that. I still think the album will do great!

I think this is the reason why they're adding 5 bonus tracks. I think they knew what was gonna go down, so they added more music so they can say "Well here you go, if you don't like some songs, you got about an album's worth more to choose from." Not exactly a stretch, since it seems to me Shady/Aftermath/Interscope are on the top of their game with the lack of a leak.
