I want some hilarious songs.
It would be a fair assumption that this new album may be not what we all expect. The album may be very dark and have a fair bit of story telling. I also believe that there may be many more references to MMLP through the rest of the album. I do feel everyone who may be a little upset about the new songs, but, we can't give up hope. Even if this is a disappointing album, we can salvage the gems like we did with Encore and just move on. There's no reason to moan about Eminem's mistakes. Like any other professional, he fucks up, so, we have to accept that and move on.
Granted, I don't want this album to be a huge disappointment, but, I think he's incapable of doing such a terrible record. Even Encore had some wicked songs.
Eminem is a legend, and will remain one for eternity. The albums he releases now really do not change the fact that he's one of the most influential artists of our generation, and his downfall is far from imminent.
For all the people saying they don't care about Eminem anymore don't really understand the reason he got so big in the first place. Before you all turned into cynical assholes, you were hanging on Eminem's every word, as was the entire world, young and old. You fail to realize that hip-hop's power on the soul is far superior then any darkness you can muster.
It's about staying positive and cussing away the problems, living a happy life and trying to do what you love.
That's why a lot of people including me will continue to support this artist and many other artists.
We won't turn our backs on the people that influenced our lives so dramatically.
Whew.
With all that said, bring on the fucking album!

We still don't have full production credits. Still no snippets. Just 4 songs that differ from each other stylistically and content wise.
We're all nervous, for one reason or another.
A leak would solve all of this. No more speculation as to whether this is Encore 2, Recovery 2, the end of his rap career, the beginning of his pop career, etc.
We'll see for ourselves what it is.
Really hope it leaks later on today to put an end to this madness.

At the very LEAST give us production credits. Yes I know that will put people up in arms, but I think it would calm MOST people down.
I'm really hoping it for it to leak b4 friday night.
