I don't get why em dissed him though. Asher like praised him, but maybe em took is as "You're awesome but I'm not trying to be you" and took it as a backhanded compliment, idk.

Agreed. Im saying, the state Eminem was in at that time, maybe a part of him felt a little threatened by Asher. Maybe a little jealous. So possibly it just burned in him a little more when he first heard it.

I don't understand why Eminem went at him. Asher Roth's song "As I Em" was a complete tribute. He wanted to address how dope he thinks Eminem is along with the continuous comparisons that he nor Eminem can see.
