Surprised at how Legacy ended up content wise. Was expecting him to start from SSLP and work his way up. Mention his highs and lows. Instead he started back at his childhood and ended it with him becoming an emcee.

I am surprised most people don't find Love Game better. I don't know why but I just love the flows that Em and Kendrick have going on this one, it's fucking beautiful. The chemistry is definitely there, would definitely love more collabs from these two.

I think "Love Game" is great and do you want to know why?

It's actually so unbelievably easy for two universally praised lyricists to find a beat, write a hook and monster 'rap' verses about Hip-Hop or their position in rap. But to be able to get two heavyweight behemoth writers to make a smooth, continuous storytelling song with such a cohesive vibe and completely unexpected content (for them two, I don't think any of us suspected that) is so much more of a difficult task to pull of well.

Mad props to Kendrick, he fucking murked the shit out of that beat. He showed he isn't scared of anyone and is willing to go into their comfort zone and still do an amazingly good job. Eminem completely wiped the floor with the beat on the second verse. The two had great chemistry, I'm dying to hear them work together - hopefully for Kendrick's album.

The song has been sent to the radio and it might be a huge hit. Eminem + Kendrick bringing that unexpected Outkast vibe = hit

I do think Skylar's singing was meh, Em would've done a better job.

Ems rapping was so dope for me though, song is still a decent track. Colorado got a reference, so I'm happy, even though it was for that fucked up Aurora shooting.

Bizarre said he'll end up in Denver Colorado at an iggy pop show, Stan met him in Denver, Matthew gave him a Bronco cap cuz they suck, etc.

I like hearing Denver or Colorado at least being said on a record. Idk why.
