I know most of you don't give a shit about this review, i'm mainly doing it because i'm bored and want to get my ideas and thoughts down on paper.
I've been rehearing these songs for the last 12 hours over and over, and it has changed my view upon the album a lot, compared to the first time i heard MMLP2. Overall i'm really really impressed of the album. Songs like Bad guy, RoR, So much better, Legacy, Brainless, So far, Love Game, Headlights and Evil twin are all amazing.
Bad Guy 8/10
Amazing lyrics, and the whole concept of the song. Stan's brother getting revenge on Em' is really interesting. Can feel a bit monotone, but Sarah Jaffe did a great job, creating variety - especially how the hook changes it beat within the lines "And I hate to be the bad guy, I just hate to be the bad guy" . As everyone's been saying the part two is godlike and i love the duet between Em' and the inner voice - so much heart in that part. The reference to "Stan" is also perfect, without feeling cheesy at all.
Parking Lot 9/10
Skits are perfect in terms of creating a certain atmosphere. And whenever i hear Parking lot, it gives me the chill, a nostalgic feeling of MMLP - Awesomeness. I think skits has a decisive significance when you hear the album from A-Z.
Rhyme Or Reason 9/10
One of my top favorite songs on the album. Eminem just goes off on a lyrical steam, spewing against everything including his dad, celebrities and other random funny things - I would say that his flow is at its best on this song on the entire album, just feels so natural. I love the wordplay, the part of CRIMINAL, GENITALS, EMERALD and the Yoda part.
So much better 8/10
Sweet song, lovable and tough beat that fits perfect for Em's aggressive rap-style. I like that he is singing the hook, as well as the bridge that paves the road for a great third verse. Another few things i love about this songs is the small but crazy and maniac parts where eminem just scream. For example:
"But I'll never say the L-word Annotateagain
I la-la-la-la lesbian *shout*"
Great song which evolves around a fun and interesting topic.
Survival 5/10
The fact that this songs was leaked so early kinda ruined everything for me. I'd love to hear it the first time along with the rest of the album. I must i like it better, now when im hearing the entire album. I feel the song is abit boring though, and reminds of a bad version of Till I Colapse. I think it could have been way better if the hook was by a HipHop male artist.
Legacy 8/10
I rly like the song, no doubt. Such a fucking emotional song, em' reaching back to his roots and whenever he says "I used to be the type of kid that" it gives me the chill. I like the hook a lot as well, i disagree with people saying it's shit. I find it better than most of the other female hooks on this album. The beat and the pouring rain creates an amazing atmosphere that fits perfect with em's voice.
Bezerk 2/10
Really don't feel like commenting this song... it's just bad. Sounds annoying all the way

Rap god 7/10
Boring beat, which sucks cuz i think it could have been a top notch song if the beat was more creative. The only reason i'd give this 7/10 is because em' is tearing shit a part, especially at 4.30+. A good hook would have made the song better i guess.
Brainless 8,5/10
Amazing beat, simple but fucking great. Great lyrics, reminds a bit of Brain damage. Great Hook! Seriously the beat is fucking sweet so oldschool love it
Stronger than I was 8/10
I heard this song 5-6 times before i liked it. The first time i was thinking what the hell, when is he gonna rap? But i dunno kinda like more and more. Em's voice is actually really nice when its low and quite. I'd prolly prefer abit more rap but yea, i like the song anyways and its rly emotional. The transition from singing to rap is so godlike, like in Hailie's song. Fucking brave of him to release a song like this as well.
The Monster 7/10
I actually been liking this song since it came out, it's not typical old em' stuff, but i dunno i think its pretty decent after all. I guess people are hating because its Rihanna. Imo, Eminem is flowing pretty solid and love his voice during the entire song. Nevertheless the topic has a very relevant topic, inner voices, ocd etc which is fucking interesting. And also shit em' has been going through during his rehab and depression. if you compare this to LTWYL, it's way more listenable, actually quite chill. I know it's a POP radio hit, but if you take that into consideration i think its a pretty nice song.
So far 8/10
Funny, good flow, nice sampling, and well produced. I like the song, i think it'll grown on me as well.
Love Game 8/10
Iike the song, especially after hearing it 10+ times, it was weird in the beginning but rly grew on me now. Nice hook, nice verses. Especially Lamar's verse and Em's second verse. I love when em' is lisping - sounds fucking hilarious.
Headlights 9/10
Amazing, just amazing. Love it. When I first heard Nate Ruess was on the album i thought the track would shitty - typical "Lighters" song. But this is something else for sure. So self-reflective, you can really feel em' is 41 now. I love the calm Em' in the song, and the lyrics are just fucking great - the imagery, metaphors and figurative language are at such a high level.
Evil Twin 9/10
Awesome lyrics, awesome hook. I like everything about the song

.
Im looking forward to the deluxe songs. Gonna fucking buy the album asap @ 5 november and only play that the entire day. Only thing I miss on this album is some great hooks from Male Hiphop Artists, Like Dre, Obie, whoever that can pull it off i guess. Nate D would be amazing RIP

(. But im fucking happy for this album. Especially looking forward to Desperation ft Jamie, could be sweet.
Out =)
