The main difference I am noticing between this and Recovery is that this is an instant classic. Recovery lost it's magic after the first listen (except a few songs like No Love, LTWYL (amazing lyrics, fuck haters), untitled). I hardly ever see a bad review of this album from anyone, not even Stans, and when you do hear one, they usually make it clear they've just skimmed through the album.

I love how much attention to detail this album has. Em's great albums always have this. Something that was missing in recovery. Subtle changes in the beat, subtle changes in the flow. Just little things that you might not even notice at first because you're just taking everything in.

Man this album has it all, couldn't have asked for anything more. It feels more like Eminem show that mmlp but it's probably his third best album and miles ahead of recovery. I like it more than relapse and you guys know I fucking love relapse. album of the year

Asshole's problem is the beat and hook are meh and bad. But he raps his ass off in that song. I give it a 3/5 as a song.

I like Asshole's hook. I just hate the beat. With the song on Itunes quality it may get better, right?

Yeah the only solution would be to take a few select stans, and let them make the hooks for him, but then the album wouldn't sell at all. I think Rubin knew what he was doing...
