Why are people talking about replacing songs with the deluxe songs, the deluxe songs are still part of the album, it's just a marketing ploy to get people to spend money.

I think so. There are leftovers of the 2012 flow, but some higher-level shit is emerging, for as long as entire verses and a whole song (Legacy).
Give it a few years, Slim is coming back!

Beautiful Pain is now one of my favorite songs. It just rings so true.

I just don't get the overwhelming love (on SL especially) for this song.

It's not even the best bonus song, let alone touching any of the main album tracks.

Yeah, I sort of hate it. Hook and beat are just awful.

Loved the hook- felt the flow left something to be desired. Beat I can take or leave.

He has this vivid and passionate imagery in this song, and it's fucking powerful. And it's not even because it's emotional that I like it. It's just a good fucking song. The part where he's talking about the casket and set fire and chant part. The flow/rhyming/imagery is top-notch.

"I do understand people being defensive of a song and its original form, but I have to say - I love the re-working of "Time Of The Season" into "Rhyme Or Reason" on Eminem's new album .... I love the energy, the invention; the way that Eminem constantly uses words and phrases from the original song as springboards to take off into all sorts of different areas - sometimes inverting the sentiments completely, always weaving complex patterns with fantastic wordplay (and often in a way that's very funny) - and always full of life! I love "There's no rhyme and no reason for nothing" being in sound so close to "It's the time of the season for loving" while being at the same time pretty much the total antithesis of the original phrase in meaning. It absolutely mirrors the song while at the same time sending it tumbling into a different universe!

It has become a TOTALLY different work of art, rather than being, for instance, a limp cover. And that's its strength. It doesn't in any way threaten the original song or the original record! Rod x"

Dude, yes. I felt the same way about 'So Far...'. I feel like he listened to the song, related to it, and made it his own. And I gotta say, I LOVE the way he sung the intro hooks ("I got a mansion, but live in a house", etc.)

u can hear the tapping and it gets louder, awesome. not even the best example but still..

didn't have to do that or a million other things on this album but it adds so much.

not to mention that whole part is kick ass
