That would be great considering Em's age & the fact how all the other albums & singles are doing too... :worship: & if that's the case it will make it clear I am a genius too. lol

loads of annoying stans in here taking em's success and popularity for granted and actin like they dissapointed at anything below a milli 1st week smh.

700-750k in 2013 is amazing for anyone but for eminem who is a veteran and been doin this ting since '99 it is fucking incredible. y'all think drake, kendrick lamar and todays "popular rappers" are gonna be doin what ems doing and selling this much in 14 years from now?

drake sold 658k first week btw with his latest album marshall is goat

Totally agree with what One Mic said, I mean why so obsessed with the "one million" mark?
Taylor Swift opened Speak Now with 1,040,000 copies, and it sold less than Recovery(4.5 million now);
Gaga opened Born This Way with more than 1,11o,ooo copies, and it sold 2.5 million(sonething similar with Relapse to be honest)
But look at Mumford and Son's albums Sigh No More and Babel, both of them don't have a monsterous opening week YET they are still charting on BB200.
I think Longevity matters the most, especially in Em's case.

True... total numbers matter the most.
But Em doing 750k first week in his 40's & all the rest of his albums been back on the charts along with so many singles is absolutely phenomenal anyway.

Those projection numbers should increase in a few days.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Why is everybody so down? 700-750k in the first week is great. Isn't that what Recovery did? Once The Monster music video releases it will create some new hype, I'm sure this album will go 3x platinum+

That's pretty darn good for 2013.

Eminem looks set to score his seventh UK Number 1 album this weekend. The US rapper’s latest release, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is also on track to become one of this year’s fastest selling albums, selling over 73,000 copies since it went on sale, according to the Official Charts Company’s latest sales data.

French DJ duo Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories is currently 2013’s fastest selling artist album, with a sales tally of more than 165,000 copies during its first week on sale back in May, while Now That’s What I Call Music 85 is the fastest selling album over-all, selling an incredible 262,000 copies during its first week of release back in July.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which is a continuation of the Eminem’s 2000 album, The Marshall Mathers LP, features US rapper’s recent Top 40 hits Berzerk, Rap God, Survival and the Number 1 smash, The Monster FT Rihanna.

2012 X Factor winner James Arthur is on course to enter at Number 2 on Sunday with his self-titled debut album, the singer’s debut offering is currently outselling Tinie Tempah’s Demonstration (3) by two copies to one. Both acts performed at last weekend’s BBC Teen Awards.

This week’s Top 5 is completed by Andre Rieu & Johann Strauss Orchestra’s Music Of The Night (4) and former Westlife vocalist Shane Filan’s debut solo album, You And Me, is at 5 today.

And if we know that 1 mill mark in the US would be awesome, what would be considered "great" regarding worldwide sales?
