Which Comeback song do you feel....

...could be picked up and dropped right into the golden-era (1999-2003) and you would not know the difference? Basically which song do you feels like the old em the most in terms of lyrics,flow, beatchoice etc.

Personally, I'd say if i'd never heard "The Warning" before and someone told me it was TES era em, i wouldn't be that inclined to question. Yeah, this is my first topic, so if this is the wrong section...sorry?

Definitely "Baby".

"Rhyme or Reason" is one of my favourite new Em tracks, by farr, but I think it's new territory - I've never heard him over music like that, with a vibe like that. In fact he hasn't really been that since... well since SSLP really - he's kind of chilled and relaxed and funky, calmly confident...

Most Em tracks after that point became about pure intensity.

But musically, it's very different.

"Baby" however could definitely be 2003 shit, but it's actually even better. Amazing rhymes and flow, and I love the concept and when he refers to himself as like a spoiled kid etc. like on 'taking my ball' / similar concept, it's just a cool way to frame what he does.
