Remember it's the EMA's which is for europeans... Obviously it's 9 PM GMT.

If it was 9 PM EST people in europe would have to watch it at like 4 AM in the morning...

It's easy for people in Europe, just follow your TV guide. People outside of Europe will have to watch it around mid-afternoon online to watch it live lol. It airs on our TV later in the evening, it'll be far from "live" as the show will have ended about 4 hours earlier.
