That performance was awkward for me. I watched the awards show with my family, and they were not impressed to say the least. Theyknow full well i love Eminem, but they know nothing about him, they were confused at the whole 'most successful artist of the decade" thing. My brother was confused the entire time, wondering what happened to songs like Lose Yourself and such. My Dad, (being an old man who enjoyed Stan), thought it was awful. They're not rap fans and don't understand the brilliance of RG, but Berzerk in particular was hard to watch. The moral of the story is: I can't help but thdink he should have done The Monster. A simple song like that with fewer voice changes and sound effects like Berzerk might have translated a lot better for the non rap fan. Or he should have done a short medley of his past hits or something. But yeah, I enjoyed it, but I don't think it was the kind of performance he should do on a stage like that. Berzerk was a poor choice. When I think back to TRSS/TWIA, it was just so much better. Not dumbed down, but it got his message across to non rap fans, Berzerk and Rap God did the opposite
