Taylor Swift Covers Eminem's "Lose Yourself" | 2006

Taylor Swift isn’t a stranger to the rap game. After all, she helped break Nicki Minaj by covering “Super Bass”. The hip-hop fan’s latest musical detour is a brief country overhaul of Eminem‘s “Lose Yourself”. (Which she has previously covered on tour). It’s a cute idea but the execution isn’t quite there.

The mega-selling Red diva dropped by The Danger Show on Froggy Radio in Pittsburgh and sang Em’s rap classic over a strummed guitar. It’s fun to hear Taylor tackle lyrics like “there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti he’s nervous” but she doesn’t quite have the attitude to pull it off. Not to worry. Social Justice Warriors hate Taylor Swift anyway, so I'm sure this is just one more mark against her. I'm pretty sure actual feminists have nothing against her, but SJWs love to trash her for dating a lot of men and writing songs about them, as well as for not being politically and socially radical enough for their liking. They'll talk about the evils of slut-shaming, but then they'll turn around and talk about what a whore they think Taylor Swift is.
