That's my point. They're about the same topic but completely different at the same time.

they're hardly about the same topic, no? if so, then you can also include love game, beautiful pain and desperation and you have quintuplets

Eh, but you could say he does this on nearly every album. Takes a subject but tackles it from different angles.

Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings

But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollas
After the track is demolished
I am your lack of a conscience

I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow

No. To go into more detail, both So Much Better and Stronger Than I Was are both about breakups and have similar song structures (two verses, a bridge, then a final verse which sounds different from the rest) but are polar opposites in attitude.

and at the end of bad guy "and we move forward as we pick up where the last mathers lp left off"

then the parking lot skit comes along, which is picking up exactly where the last album left off. last verse of the last song on MMLP1 - criminal. Then rhyme or reason comes on, his "I'm back again" song "it's the tiiiiimeee of the season, when it's full of hate" "my job here isn't done, torture everyone, etc"
"Dope as shady though? Bitch, don't KID yourself. You ain't even a baby GOAT." -Em (Symphony in H)

Kid
/kid/ noun:
A baby goat.

Fair enough. How do you think I'm reaching, though?

Supporting evidence is that Em clearly has a track about his evil twin.

He also has other pairs which are about the same topic approached in completely different manners.

i felt like a lot of topics overlapped on the album, but were done so differently they held their own weight

I get what you're saying, I just think the similarities aren't strong enough. He uses similar song structures and talks about the same topic throughout the album.

Fair enough, but he never does an actual breakup song besides those two, and those two can be seen as "twins", much like Evil Twin had Em rapping in to personas that began to blur together.

And if you look closely, these two songs are VERY similar.

Both of them start with Em lamenting the actual relationship itself. Second verse is about Em talking about the break up, ending with Em coming to terms with it. The final verse is about Em moving past the relationship.

He switches back and forth between Eminem, Marshall and Shady throughout the whole album. It's so seamless you don't always notice the transition until a third or fourth listen. It really gives the album extra personality. You can even see it in the singles(except Survival, that's all Eminem).

I also feel like Em seamlessly uses all of his styles throughout the CD. You even hear him use Encore and Relapse flows on occasion, though without the sound effects and accents).
