Just labeling it as sad rap is kind of taking an extremely generic stance on it. He's much more than just sad.

Flowers For My Father is his last album (Better than TBA imo) and has only one (edit: two, but both are completely deserved) sad song on it.

Yeah he did a collaborative album with Kristoff Krane called Prey For Paralysis and the serial killer video was from Higher Brain.

And he's moving away from more sad songs into a more sort of deranged, dark music that's not exactly sad. Kind of like a less cartoonish Relapse based more on thoughts than actions.

It's actually probably harder to get into than his sad stuff and can be a bit off putting sonically at times because of how strange it is but whatever.

Not really in the mood to listen to sad songs and honestly most of the songs I've heard from him are too emo/moody (except his newer stuff apparently) and I got tired of it.

I've tried though, and liked Black Rose. But yeah it's not for me. I don't know, it bores me. I'm not saying he's boring, it's just not really what I'd bump all day long.

Actually I didn't like Hopsin's last "emo" song or whatever it was, so yeah that's that. But I think Hopsin is very lucky because his delivery keeps people interested even if sometimes his lyrics are corny or even if they suck.

However, I just can't seem to be captivated by Sadistik's delivery and tone 9 times out of 10 (not the case here). This is why I can't get into him. His verse on this is a lot more interesting than the first verse though, but I don't know. I think it's just bias/personal preferences. There are some artists like that I really wish I could get into but I can't.

I was more so going at the general opinion, not just yours. I can understand that you don't prefer the tone or atmosphere a Sadistik song brings or that it might be tiresome.

Hopsin's delivery is my favourite aspect of his work, I think he has a great rapping voice. I have seen a lot of criticism towards Sadistik's voice, not the tone of it but that it's just a bad sounding voice to have (though I don't agree). I just think his delivery is solid and works perfectly on the beats he uses and the way he writes.
