Gossip mode on.........Yesterday I was in Madrid, specifically in Pozuelo de Alarcón, and I saw a huuuuuuuuge incredible house....it was Cristiano's house. Lot of amazing cars also.

You guys choose the wrong profession.

But yeah, international breaks are so boring. At least this is the last one for a while.

I didn't know you were a football player!! That's the risk, only a few get to where he is. I have a friend, who played football his whole life, he earns enough to live and even live well, but he is not famous or rich, soon he will have to retire, and he doesn't know what he will do. He stopped his studies to play, he never worked in anything else.......So either he finds something related, as a coach of some small team or something like that, or he is fucked....

You're right... some football players have problems when they retire but some do well. My pro football player career started & finished pretty early actually... it started when I just turned 17 & ended in a car accident when I was 21. Actually I came back after that but I was already traveling to the US working with kids in football academies & at camps which made me stop playing for good later on.

Here I go with some retro & funky photos... lol (right click to see all of them)

Me & others who made it in Premiership & La Liga crowned as Champions of Bulgaria with CSKA getting the medals in an army facility 'cuz we were all drafted in the army that same year. Let see if Premiership fans will recognize some of those dudes.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I'm impressed. And the pics are great. No wonder why you love football so much.

I guess it's frustratring if you had to stop doing something you really liked it because of an accident. Hope you found a job you liked it too. You were young still.

It's a cliche to say it, but only a few are lucky enough to made it to get where Cristiano is, apart than the talent of course. There are too many factors that are needed. Lucky is one, lesions and accidents can end many careers.

I loved football all of my life & gave everything to it. Thank you for the nice works little sis. I'm doing fine... if not better.

Talent wise... Cristiano is exactly where he belongs, he deserves all credits he's received. I'm very happy for him all those other factors never stopped him to get there. Dude gave me so much joy while he was at United too. :worship:

Gosh! Well done...

This. You've got a very interesting story. Sorry to hear about the accident though, dude. At least you're doing better. :y:

I had a discussion on a similar subject with a few friends before. I'm wondering how you guys (and girls) personally feel.

Do you think anyone can become a world class player providing you start early enough?

Oh, of course no. You need to have that certain something....to become a Messi or Cristiano. There are guys who play football since kids and are never good.

Another thing is that is you try really hard, you can improve a lot, and maybe be even good. But if you don't have that certain thing you won't go that far. And also a bit of luck.

Can someone who raps a lot be Eminem? Is the same thing...

@Calandre, you listen Manu Chao, where are you from?? He is talented, I like his lyrics, but not the kind of music I really like.

Welcome btw. :y:

Bilbao, nice. The way they've stayed competitive whilst sticking to their Basque policy is impressive.
