Well you & I were months ahead homie... :y: It was definitely great! I kind of think Interscope requested all those albums/single detailed info to stay on the low as much as that was possible though. I'd understand if they did that too.

Eminem is blocking Gaga in a lot of countries. Probably not in the UK or US though, unfortunately.

9. EMINEM - The Monster f/Rihanna: 90.152 (+ 4.180) ▲

It's climbing really fast man.

In the UK, Eminem has bowed at #4 for this week with his single "The Monster' ft Rihanna.

On the album charts. Eminem has dropped to #2 with MMLP2 as ARTPOP goes to Number 1.

Ergh, Gaga needs to get the fuck out of the charts.

Interscope obviously did all this on purpose as they wanted Gaga's first week to kind of meet Em's crazy buzz & benefit from it 'cuz she didn't have such big record this time around... I know it doesn't really make sense but they've really planned it that way.

I honestly would not be surprised if inter scope is paying people like billboard to report eminem numbers lower just this one week.

Nah. that's definitely not the case... that would be bad business. Practically Jimmy would only care about if both albums benefited from each other & if their total number came bigger 'cuz of that so it totally make sense they planned the albums that way.
Like I said they could have just requested all details not to be shown 'cuz with that many albums & that many singles up in the charts things could have gone outta hand & the distraction could have actually hurt Gaga's first week sales which aren't that impressive anyway.

Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings

But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollas
After the track is demolished
I am your lack of a conscience

I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow

This year's top selling albums so far(US only)
JT 20/20 Experience part1 2,330,000
Bruno Mars Unorthodox Jukebox 1,290,000

Drake Nothing was the same 1,060,000

I think Em has the chance to block Bruno Mars......

I just feel weird that we have so many big names dropping albums this year, but none of them seems to have an album that bears the testimony of time......or in other words, albums are pretty front-loaded this year...and UKmix says this is the first year since 2008 that the annual best selling album fails to crack 3 million. :shakehead:

MMLP2 definitely can crack 3 mill eventually... Recovery was doing 50's for months. MMLP2 is gonna actually crack 3 mills with half the longevity Recovery had. I think it's here to stay.
Don't forget it'll be still hot when the Holiday season kicks in... sales always go wild around Christmas.
