This is being co-produced by Rick Rubin and her main music producer Emile Haynie produced several songs on Eminem's album. Why why why was there no Lana collab *sigh*

Neither do I, lol.

I know about Rick Rubin, and actually I think it could be great a song with Lana in the hook.

We could consider Lana pop, but many people who likes rock , enjoy her music, so does with Eminem. I think they could work fine together. And would be much more interesting than having Skylar and Rihanna again and again.............

But imagine Lana and Eminem in a stage together...I just can't.

I absolutely can. Lana's music is so much darker than that of anyone else in mainstream pop and she cites Eminem as a major influence. She's one of us. He should reach out and get a collab on that next album.

Wow, everybody loved so much the concert that Lana made in my city a few days ago. I've seen some videos and articles and it seemed so awesome.

I'll surely go next time.

I mentioned this before but if they collabed, that shit would be fucking insanity. I would take a sabbatical from this forum for like a week just to process the song.

I'm still on a Born To Die kick, I alternate between BTD and MMLP 2.

I picture something with one of her more hip hop sounding beats, like Off To The Races (my favorite song from her) or Lolita, and Em ripping the beat to shreds and her killing the hook.

She can do that high pitched baby voice if it's a spazzing out track, a dark, haunting voice like Dark Paradise if it's a dark track, or a sultry voice like Million Dollar Man if it's a song about relationships. Her range is incredible.

Eminem you better be reading this shit. I don't come up with these stangasms for myself.

I'm gonna youtube to see if they have any mashups.

Edit: Nothing good. Fuck

Honestly, if she reached out to Em', there is a chance he'd consider working with her.

Will be GOAT collab. I'm sure the possibility has occured to Em, seeing as he worked with Rubin on MMLP2.

They're just my two favorite artists right now. Well Em is my all time fave and Lana is my favorite new artist.

If they collabed that would be fucking amazing.

I've seen an interview where she cites him as inspiration, saying she "listens to the greats" of every genre.

Plus, I'm annoyed (and so is she) at her lack of mainstream success.

I don't get why she's not more popular. She's an incredible talent and her album is ridiculously good.

A collab with Em might spark her career and I can stop hearing about Gaga and Cyrus. That's my hope.

When she was singing in her real name "Lizzy Grant" she was a major flop. Plastic surgery and trying to be the new Nancy Sinatra with her 60's themed music isn't going to help. Her music is poorly depressing aswell and is so repetitive. She does look after her fans though and is kind but her music isn't any good.

I disagree completely.

Who cares if her music is depressing? I love it that way. And some really aren't that depressing. Repetitive? I don't think so.

Funny thing is her "Lizzie Grant" music sounds pretty the same. There's not a huge difference in her looks either besides the hair and wardrobe and even some of that is the same. Her music is described as "sad core", downbeat and not radio friendly but she's still managed to sell over 4 million copies of Born To Die. Also I think you are mistaking consistent for repetitive.

Read this in twitter, thought it was a great description:

"listening to a Lana del Rey song is like being in a bar in the 1960's wearing a luxurious fur coat and drinking a martini"
