Hell yeah, specially when King Remembered in Time, Run the Jewels and Trunk Muzik Returns feel like free albums.

I have two albums in which I have anointed my favorites of the year. This will come as a surprise to literally nobody who frequents the Eminem or HHD section.

MMLP2
Born Sinner

Outside of that there are a few releases I've caught from the Hip-Hop side (obv. Yeezus and MCHG, etc.) and a few others outside the genre (I'm a Paramore stan, sue me).
You'd be surprised...

I don't think we should count them. I mean, nobody countr mixtapes as albums.

With that being said, MMLP2, WMWTSO, King Push, Old (kinda), Twelve Reasons to Die, Once upon a crime

Eminem - MMLP2
Hopsin - Knock Madness
J. Cole - Born Sinner (underrated as heck)
Tech N9ne - Something Else
Childish Gambino - Because the Internet (not out yet but I'm almost certain this will be top 5 for me)

I need to check out Danny Brown's album.
KNOCK MADNESS - OUT NOW
Jimmy Conway, on someone placing a bid on Eminem's old home wrote:Koolo will probably buy it and have an orgy with all the studio leak worshipers in it and then burn it down because not enough people answered his "Do you like me buying this house" poll.
