Kanin is an upcoming rapper from Compton with whom Kendrick started his journey to Rap. The two used to rap together as early as 7th grade, as per K.Dot’s confession in his interview with Nardwuar

Most likely just a coincidence, but right before it sounds like he says Eminem he says "recording more than twice a week". In one of Em's recent interviews he said while working on the album he would record like 2 songs a week. But it's probably not related haha

yeah that bit sounded related to me as well, but then i lost clarity on it, it almost sounded like a diss to me, but i know that would never be the case

Dope but it's probably not a new song, this the guy that Kendrick started rapping with, like in middle school? Remember his name being brought up in that nardwuar interview. It seems that a lot of old kdot songs are seeing the light of the day, even his old freestyles are being uploaded by some Dj's.
