Headlights would be a great single choice after Monster imo
it would be an album seller

The video hasn't even been released yet and you've heard of Recovery right?

Of course I have heard it and bought it.If I sound negative, firstly sorry guys...but that's just my opinion. If you prefer he put out singles like Monster then fine...but LTWYL is the first time Em and Rihanna collaborated, and he chose a very clever and sensitive topic at that time...it got huge success beyond anyone's expectation but that doesn't mean the same formula could work again.

But still great. #2 best selling album in 5 weeks later

Put aside the obvious of album sales not being what they were years ago, a few things. Recovery came out in the summer as noted versus MMLP2 coming out close to Christmas. There was always going to be the inevitable drop off point for a week or maybe even two, when all the Christmas albums started selling like crazy. It happens every year. It's how Buble has been able to sell as he has with his Christmas albums.
Looking at that list, if correct, it would mean Britney Spears could not even get a number one album and only sold a little over 100,000 copies of her new album. Also, One Direction had the natural fall off in their second week, while Eminem going on 5 weeks is still selling fairly strong. As has been stated repeatedly, Eminem has the second highest first week sales of any artist for the entire year. And Justin Timberlake who has the highest, after his 7 years music break, did not match his success with the Part 2 of his album and it actually hasn't done that great.
Monster is despite what people seem to think doing very well and is very, very close to being another BB#1 hit for Em. So I just cannot understand where these sad faces/depressing whatever comments are coming from about Em's album/single sales. To put this in another perspective. The Slim Shady LP debuted with a little over 500,000 sales in it's first week and then of course we know what happened with MMLP and so on. But what that means is that Eminem has never, in a 15+ year career, had a solo album not go Gold in its first week. That is amazing and something not many artists can actually boast. I guess I'm just not sure what people seem to want and it's why I really have to wonder if this is all just trolling as opposed to genuine fan concern.
SSLP first week sales was less than 500k, it sold 283k.
But still the sales are good, and im guessing after this week sales it will rise again because of Christmas. But i still feel like sales could of been better with better promotion. Like even for relapse eminem had more promotion in US than MMLP2. Like there were a lot of award shows he could of performed in. And he could of had more interviews with talk shows.
