-Slim The Mobster (dude was under aftermath dr.dre)
-Papoose
-Nipsey

Rappers I expect to blow up in 2014:

-Big Krit
-Yelawolf
-Schoolboy Q

I expect those 3 to be at least as big as Asap Rocky

okay but i just cant see the general hip hop fan getting into yelawolfs music. all three you mentioned have enough appeal to the basic fan that yelawolf just doesnt have. idk we will see

It was kind of a phenomenon to be honest... Houston's rap scene exploded for a year or so out of nowhere & even had the South on lock that actual years... platinum albums were coming left right & center & Flip, Cham, Paul Wall, Mike Jones & Slim Thug all got crossover recognition & commercial success in a very short period of time coming from a region that never had that before even when such gigantic legendary acts like Gheto Boys, Scarface & UGK were young & active & were dropping classic Hip-Hop album.

That blow up disappeared as surprisingly as it came though... all those artists who had platinum albums flopped with their next albums commercially.
