I think it would be great album, but we must wait to April/May/June to hear this, because this is the most likely date to published this project.

macklemore does fine independent and for yela, tde is part of interscope right? so the promotion would not change that much I think, I do wish to see yela collabing with kendrick or the other tde artists

TDE & interscope have a particular deal. TDE are heading the rap department @ interscope and punch said that he still consider his artists as indie rappers because thye can do whatever they want.. he said something like "Interscope is only there to distribute the copies and they are cool with that as long as we can sell our albums"

Macklemore, TDE/Black Hippy, Chance The Rapper,... it's the same shit, it's a new business. all of them are/were "indie" artists who work with some companies for the distribution/promotion. The idea is to make you think that the artists you "decided" to support are legit & from the street.

it's funny because only on here I hear that these artists are doing that shit on their own lol. Sure they have more freedom for their albums but all of them work with labels/radios/companies. In fact, they are not on a label but they work "with" them
