Beat sucks and Hook is straight horrid. There is no way they couldn't have gotten a better Skylar Grey hook on this thing. It's as if she really died during production of this album and it was the only thing she had recorded for Eminem. In which case, I would rather they ripped the I Need a Doctor hook and slapped it on this thing, it would STILL be better than what we got.

Lyrics and subject matter are fire though.

it is underrated, I love this song but the most underrated thing about it is the hook, seems like a lot of people hate it...

I like the beat a lot too. A lot of people hate it juste because they know ADK produced it, some genuinely hate it and that's okay but I honestly like it.

I hate it because it's a loud messy beat. I never liked Em over such beats because we all know he's better over stripped down beats or ones that let his vocal 'shine'.

I've loved the beat since the first listen on some shitty headphones. Sounds like a stadium of people stomping, like a lunch-table rap type of thing. Hook's just fine and it never brought the quality of the song down for me. On a decent pair of headphones, it sounds pretty damn great and immersive. Not one of my favorites, but that's not saying much, as the record is full of hits.

The beat is terribad.. it's too distracting to the song. Could of done without another mediocre Skyler hook.

I don't hate the beat just because it's ADK.. I just don't think he does rap beats very well.. they're too busy for me most times. That being said I really like Wicked Ways for some reason.

Whenever I play my CD somewhere and Asshole comes on I really need to skip it to the next.

Yeah i agree, one of the few changes i made for my playlist was flipping Berzerk and Asshole, because after So Much Better it segues pretty well into Survival, then after that Legacy is great and then you hear Berzerk, Asshole and Rap God which continues into Brainless and so forth.


I guess the point is, Asshole isn't a terrible song... it's okay, it just fits better between Berzerk and Rap God than it does after Legacy, i think.
