For real. I consider myself a hip-hop head, i study the charts non stop, yada yada. I think both albums are classic but the shit Macklemore spits is new age inspiration, which has related to people all over the world and gotten people who would have never turned an ear to hip-hop into the genre.

Eminem had the corniest entry to the rap game ever. He was a joke until MMLP1 fully sank in... so I'm just waiting for his sophomore album to drop and be classic hip-hop so I can be like "inb4 the bandwagon fans".

and you'll never see anybody talking about his lyrics, sure he has a different and very corny subject matter but what matters is not what you say, it's how you say it. There really isn't an argument to make that is going to convince me this album isn't just a 6/10 album at the very best.
