Didn't realize this thread was about soccer until now. This is what America does to my brain :o

I do post somewhere else apart from the Games section...

Haha no I'm just saying because I forgot that 95% of the world associates football with what Americans call soccer. Typical American stereotype that I have.

They won't and I'm not changing teams here... (I'm kind of trying to get ticket(s) to see them...)

I hope so actually... they need Berbatov or another striker if they want to stay in the fight to the end though. I personally prefer Arsenal to win the league over City.

Today is the day, Fifa ballon d'or, who do you think is going to win? Ronaldo better win this time around, he deserves it :worship:

And hope Matic wins the Puskas Award for the best goal

And Benfica won yesterday against Porto 2-0, great game, great homage to Eusébio :worship:

Speaking of Matic, it looks like he's on his way back to Chelsea. :flutter:

It gotta be Ronaldo... I know their rules but even though Real looked like a amateur circus last year Ronaldo has done so much better than any Bayern player. There's no comparison to be honest.

Reports are suggesting it's ~ €25m. Thankfully you guys aren't as difficult to negotiate with as Porto! I also read that Garay and Rodrigo may be off to Zenit too? Do you guys want to win the title?

Unfortunately we do need the € after not passing the group stage on the CL so some sales have to be made...but i believe it's probably just going to be Matic...besides we do got Fejsa to substitute Matic...Rodrigo is on top form now and he's still young it would be a mistake to sell him

Wolrd Cups always fuck the transfer market but Benfica definitely better cash in after the season 'cuz it'll suck if they have to replace their best places in mid season... esp. this year when all 3 giants are up for a fight.

In 2013 the only thing lacking was the titles, but Ronaldo was better than Messi and Ribéry overall

Being eliminated from the CL fucked everything up, bad luck being eliminated with 10 points

If Messi didn't get that injury & missed 2 months would be very tricky to be honest 'cuz Messi still scored more goals last season & Barca won the title... plus he started the new season in a great manner as well.
If it was only about solo performance Ribery couldn't touch neither Messi or Ron 'cuz he was nowhere near close to any of them indeed though.
It'd be still sad if they picked Ribery only 'cuz Bayern won everything & brushed aside all teams last season though.

Well it doesn't make any difference to be honest 'cuz they'd still cash in soon enough... just a few months away. It's the WC that fucks with their minds... a lotta young talented players & a great platform for all to prove themselves.
I agree about the CL disappointment but it'd be even worse if they lost another title fight 'ucz of selling their best players in mid season.

Ribery over C.Ronaldo if the votes weren't pushed back. But since C.Ronaldo qualified Portugal by himself..

The only thing Ribéry had more than Ronaldo were the titles, and that's for the all team not just Ribéry..he didn't even scored half the goals Ronaldo scored
