Glad ya'll like it. My goals in posting this were to enlighten some folks on the depth of Macklemore. Many of those who criticize the Heist and its success haven't heard/seen how long Mack has been grinding and how far he can take it lyrically.

I fucked with the Heist hard...I think it is a phenomenal project. I downloaded all his old shit since I liked the Heist so much, but was very disappointed. Maybe 3 songs I can fuck with, the rest is average at best. Maybe I just don't like Ben without Ryan.

I hear ya man… but for me some of the lyrics on language of my world make my head explode. "this is it, when you spit you exist in that moment, and if you're sick with that gift then you rip it when you perform it, and all the shit that you live begins to lift up your shoulders, and the audience, well they get to experience what your soul is"

I also don't like it. Macklemore has never appealed to me, I've tried listening to everything he's put out to see what I'm missing, nothing is clicking.

I wasn't just talking about the hate on this album bro
