I'm really starting to find Macklemore's face very annoying,.

It doesn't matter if you fuck with Macklemore. He's more successful, and will continue to be, than anyone you DO fuck with. He is shattering records and barriers in the music industry and a lot of artists will benefit from this.

I personally don't like Biggie's songs. Yeah he can flow, and he's a good lyricist, but he just raps about killing people and dying while doing/dealing drugs. So it doesn't matter if you like him or not, me not liking biggie didn't stop him.

Macklemore talks about real shit, emotional/spiritual epiphanies a lot of you younger people hating on him just don't even understand yet. So give it a break and let him wreck the music industry. Everything will benefit from this and it has already made hip hop history.

Most rap fans on forums are in fact white kids that don't want to associate themselves with Macklemore... because they are white enough as it is, so they "act black" and some actually wish they were black (which is sad and pathetic if you ask me).

Me as well (Yes I did see the "most" comment Aone, just saying). 2 things that should be cleared up. The Eminem comparisons aren't doing you guys any favors. Saying "this is how people thought of Eminem before MMLP" implies that you think Mack is about to drop an MMLP, which I don't see. He's not that kind of MC, which is what I associate with how Eminem gained a lot of credibility with that album.

Second: I really doubt anyone close to, or above legal age "doesn't understand" macklemore's music. Just so you know, even implying that kind of condescension is going to get people to hate him more. I'm not denying that he gets a ton of hate, so honestly to help you guys out with your efforts, both of those approaches will backfire with people. That's my genuine advice.

I am actually planning on going through his shit again in light of all of this. With that said, I'm not trying to counter you. I'm trying to help you out. Comparing Macklemore to Em at the time of SSLP and MMLP is a bad idea. He was a surefire greatest of all time contender with the crazy shit he was doing then. Mackemore is not rapping greatest of all time verses right now.

Again, I'm not saying this to compare who is better or debate the subject. I'm saying this because when people doubt him and say he sucks, turning to MMLP Eminem for your analogies is going to turn a ton of people off instantly. I support the notion that he is hated more than he may deserve, but you have to understand the type of declarations you're making and the fact that it will most likely turn people away more than draw them in.

There is something seriously wrong with this comment. If you've listened to hip-hop for 16+ years you have heard tons of worst artists than Macklemore. If you study his bars, the dude can spit, hard. You can not like Macklemore if you want, but if you know hip-hop, you've got to at least give him his credit. He makes awesome music.
