I'm sure he isn't the only one who feels that way, otherwise we wouldn't have all these rappers trying to glorify the black culture; meek mill, kendrick lamar, kanye west, scarface,..

People are only hating on jamar because they don't like him.

"Apache" is a much-recorded instrumental written by Jerry Lordan. The original version was by the British group The Shadows, recorded in June 1960 and released the following month. It topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks.[1]

In North America, the tune is identified with Jørgen Ingmann, a jazz guitarist from Denmark. In 1961, his cover version, credited to "Jørgen Ingmann and His Guitar", made No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No.9 on the US R&B chart.[2] The track reached No.1 on Canada's CHUM Chart.

A 1973 version by the Incredible Bongo Band has been called "hip-hop’s national anthem".[3] Although this version was not a hit on release, the long percussion break in the middle has been sampled countless times on hip-hop, rap and dance tracks since the 1980s.

Hiphop

The origin of the Kulture stems from the block parties of the Ghetto Brothers when they plugged the amps for their instruments and speakers into the lampposts on 163rd Street and Prospect Avenue, and from DJ Kool Herc at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, where Herc mixed samples of existing records with his own shouts to the crowd and dancers. Kool Herc is credited as the "father" of hip hop. DJ Afrika Bambaataa of the hip hop collective Zulu Nation outlined the pillars of hip hop culture, to which he coined the terms: MCing or "Emceein", DJingor "Deejayin", B-boying and graffiti writing or "Aerosol Writin".[7][8][9][10][11]

Since its evolution throughout the South Bronx, hip hop culture has spread to both urban and suburban communities throughout the world.[12] Hip hop music first emerged with Kool Herc and contemporary disc jockeys and imitators creating rhythmic beats by looping breaks (small portions of songs emphasizing a percussive pattern) on two turntables. This was later accompanied by "rap", a rhythmic style of chanting or poetry often presented in 16-bar measures or time frames, and beatboxing, a vocal technique mainly used to provide percussive elements of music and various technical effects of hip hop DJs. An original form of dancing and particular styles of dress arose among fans of this new music. These elements experienced considerable adaptation and development over the course of the history of the culture.

Jus sayin yo

maybe he doesn't say it but it's pretty clear that kdot thinks that way as well.

pac, scarface, kendrick's work are/were 'pro-black'... I don't think thay have anything against white artists but they are against those who are trying to control every form of art (cinema, music,..)

Scarface went too far though, he wants black people to control hip hop because he sees that shit as black music

There is nothing wrong with being pro-black. Racism is still very much alive in the United States, and I'm all for artists like Kendrick standing up for his people... but fighting it by turning the gun on white people is not the right way to go.

Scarface went full Jamar.

I agree that Face went too far but he definitely gave some valid points imo... he just lost me when he said black people should be in control of "black music"
