It reminded me to Maradona... esp. since like a couple of years ago Messi scored another one against Getafe that resembled to Maradona's famous goal against England in the '86 WC & scored another similar one to this one in the first game last week. So now he's scored 3 goals like that to Getafe in total but that first one from a few years back was the greatest.
In general Messi dribbles the ball like Maradona... they have distinctive way of dribbling like always holding the ball close to their feet without bothering to do fancy moves & changing the direction when they're way closer to opponents unlike both Ronaldo's who'd dribble with more finesse & would start doing fancy stuff while been a step or two further to opponents.

It reminded me of this goal. You can't tell me you don't see the similarities.
I know exactly what you mean little homie...

I wasn't even trying to disregard your point... I was just saying while looking at it as an insider of the game which makes it easy for me to see difference or similarities of certain players to another level. If you look closely at those links you'll see Il Fenomeno finesse & moves have already beat the defenders or the goalies while he's still kind of away from them & that's what I was talking about. Maradona before & Messi nowadays do it differently as they they'd go for some extraordinary control of the ball without letting it go to far for fancy moves.
I love it when you occasionally talk about or bring links of the Brazilian Ronaldo's goals 'cuz I truly miss him.
