NeverSincerely wrote:I'm not sure how well you understand english as it may not be your first language, but the way you phrased it made it seem like you were saying they increased in 2010 and in 2011. By saying "11% up in 2010 & 12% up in 2011" the use of the word "up" heavily implies that you were saying they increased. I read the article and was confused at why you would say that. I'm sorry that I misunderstood, but It can be hard to understand you when at times you speak in such incomplete sentences. That's why I was tried asked what you were talking about.
Well you bring that
English is not your first language card every time around & you're right it's not my first language YET AGAIN but what I said was more than obvious for anybody who's past 3rd grade & can walk straight. So don't blame my bad English for this, it was clearly you.
NeverSincerely wrote:This is the last time I'm acknowledging you, since unsurprisingly you were as rude and condescending in your response "as usual". This is why I always try to avoid quoting you or visiting this forum in the first place.
I'm one of the nicest guys on the forum & respect anybody's opinion... & most of it I never go at people for no reason.
I am only rude to glory hunters who address my posts & say shit for attention or out of insecurities. I'm talking about the last time you ''manned up'' a few months ago or whatever.
Go back, dig it & re read & then talk about been rude. As a matter of fact I hate when I go at people... esp. girls but you looked for it that time & a few other times too.
Well still... I'm sorry if that hurt your feelings... I truly am... & seriously don't address my posts 'cuz I don't think you make sense whenever you do.
NeverSincerely wrote: And just by you saying that "it's never fair to compare album sales when there are tens of factors that make a huge difference" I know there is no point speaking to you as you truely have no idea what you're talking about. Every single album released has ten of factors that make a huge difference in it's sales/chart runs/and overall success, are we not supposed to compare any album sales ever?
Are you like 14 years old or something?
This paragraph defines your confusion & ignorance. Just leave it If you haven't understood it by now..
You're as confused as usual is on again.
NeverSincerely wrote: Why don't you stick to the enjoying the music and stop trying to analyze charts and sales when it's abundantly clear you rarely know what you are talking about.

I think you should bother about your own ridiculous act rather than bothering about mine... Don't make me bring some older threads in which you literally didn't have idea what you were talking about & went to boiling point if we talk about confusion & desperation.
Again... I am really sorry for telling you all that but you asked for it.
chikachika wrote:Total album sales of 2010 was around 326 million, total album sales of 2013 was 289 million, so around a 11% drop. Its a fair comparison bro. Ya its not exactly the same but its obvious its not doing as well as Recovery. Not Afraid and LTWYL were bigger singles than any single off MMLP2, eminem did more live performances within america than he is doing now. The grammys are coming up and eminem will not be performing in it, even tho he did in 2010 and 2011. Eminem is just not permoting the album that well. But at the end of the day MMLP2 is miles ahead of Recovery and sales does not reflect that.
Man I am not even telling you DON'T compare those two albums if we talk about sales... I'm just telling you it doesn't makes sense at all. I mean you & whoever else could keep doing it of course... you can do whatever the fuck you want.
Go back & re read some of Rev's posts a few pages back... he made it very clear & brought some great points about all that.
You're technically right
Recovery & its singles have done better but like I said 10 times there are tens of different factors that make it impossible for
MMLP2 to get there. I literally mean tens & it is what it is. Not only the fact that sales have declined in general but the fact the albums are way different to one another & their strategies were totally different as well.
MMLP2 singles have sold less than
Recovery ones separately but at the end of the day all 4 of them have plaques in less than 3 months.
I mean we could all stop thinking like NeverSincerely & say something genius like....
Recovery sold that much in its 10th week & MMLP2 sold that much in its 10th week so Recovery did better but this is not how it works. No disrespect but this is not mathematics.
I totally get Mikey's reaction & frustration about it 'cuz it's way more than obvious this album does incredibly well for one released in '13 & it totally sucks when people compare its sales to a way different type of album that came in mid '10.
There were only 2 Plat Hip-Hop albums which were released in '12 & they both edged it to Plat deep in '13 & there were only 3 Plat Hip-Hop albums including MMLP2 in '13. Most of it MMLP2 has already sold more than the rest 4 for less than 3 months. As simple as that my dude.
