Some of that has to do with having a better supporting cast in Miami. It helps when you also play with Bosh, Chalmers, and Wade.

Statistically**

He needed the incredible Heat team not only to win a ring, but to put up the numbers he did. When he actually had to work for his points and shots, he didn't have those superhuman numbers. His phenomenal team helping him out makes him look considerably better than a player that is forced to take more shots and carry his team.
Bron is actually statistally better in cleveland, but is less efficent than he is with the heat

LeBron has improved a lot as a player, a whole lot, but it's his cast that helped him win those titles.

In conclusion Kobe GOAT

SWA needs to get his ass on the NBA thread, and Aone needs to come back to it :crossed:

What? lol naw Kobe was only a sidekick in 2 of those titles.

Also the the 2 titles after that had an okay supporting cast that's about it. Kobe won 3 of those with the team on his back. God bless his soul.

I don't even think I realized there was one haha. I need to get out of this argument is what I need to do. I knew I shouldn't have gotten in haha.

Edit @ above: That's because everyone around him is terrible. Do you even know what I just said? Without him they wouldn't win a single game. The only reason they got where they were last season was because of him having a great season. He's still havinga great season but his team is terrible. He is carrying them. But only as far as the rest of the team can allow. They don't have to be amazing for a player to be carrying them where they are

NO. The reason they were great last season because of their outstanding ball movement and Tyson's grat defensive impact.

Both which are gone this season

Great*

And c'mon... if you watch Heat games as much as you say you do, you would know that LeBron has to carry his team more than he should. Even non-Heat fans acknowledge that...

I do and I respectfully disagree. The Heat would still be a serious playoff contender without him. You aren't carrying your team by taking 16-17 shots a game. He has so many other scoring options. KD and Melo have to carry teams right now. Without them, their teams would be garbage right now. Without Lebron, I believe the Heat could still be winning many games. Not as many, but they would no doubt be a winning team.

You're wrong again.

LeBron is averaging 26 points a game, that's 13 shots, on a 58% FG percentage. That means he's taking about 22 shots per game :coffee:

And he carries his team by not only being the most efficient offensive player in the league, but by also being one of (if not the best) defenders in the league.... not to mention that he does an excellent job at dishing out assists and crashing the boards as well.

And Miami wouldn't survive in the playoffs without LeBron. They'd lose to Indiana in 5.

@painus, my bad fam... the NBA thread has just been dead this season... I blame Spyder fam. If SWA joins in, we might have great discussions.

LeBron won't survive w/o Bosh or Wade either

Okay, Lebron literally is averaging 16.5 FGA per game. That just is what it is.

Secondly, if you think the Knicks would have gotten where they did last season without Carmelo's career high season...then I'll just leave you to your opinion in peace.

I do think he played a solid role in their success last season, but not Shaq/Hakeem level like what you're trying to tell

And as for this season, Melo hasn't carried anything(Sure, SOME wins) but its nothing
