The fact that Arcade Fire won album of the year over Recovery is embarrassing.

Forget that, in probably one of the worst decisions ever at the Grammys, what ever album Steely Dan put out beating MMLP, isn't just embarrassing, it's a down right travesty Em did not win that year.

I'm sure looking back at it, they realize they clearly chose the more impactful/better album.

Great day for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
What they've accomplished tonight is huge. To do it all with a independent release it's the most hip hop it can get.
It will come with a lot of hate, but that's not a big deal if you want to be a giant. Let the rap core fans hate be the fuel for a incredible sophomore.
Kendrick. Oh, Kendrick. He's coming out this Grammys empty handed after chilling on 2013 just collecting W from his 2012 classic debut. Personaly, I hope he learns from this and gets more humble. I also hope that rap funs stop sucking on his dick that much, but that's another story. Come back stronger, Kendrick, and this mad city will be at your feet someday. Let that anger from not getting anything flow trhough your studio sessions.
After all, Rap still getting snubbed at SOTY and AOTY categories. We still have to break that down. They can't marginalize us.

To be honest if I'm Kendrick, is be am I did not win but would not be surprised, for years the selection committee has seemed pretty elitist, out of touch, and especially doesn't give any credence to hip hop that isn't widespread everywhere. Should he mad and should he have won, yes, but it most likely was never going to happen.

Eminem deserved it more. Recovery had the rap fans, pop fans, great story and huge singles to back it up. Fucking embarrassing Arcade Fire won.

I'm not sure if you are trying to reference Control or his shots at Drake but come on, Kendrick doesn't need to be friendly with everyone. Control was kind of a diss but was mainly I'm better than all of you and if you think you can get my crown try to take it. Hip hop has been getting too sensitive and not as competitive as it once had been. I have no issue with Kendrick trying to stir the pot in hip hop since that's what hip hop has always been about, competition.
