It's weird, Messi came back and he plays well and delivers great assists but it seems like he just can't score in La Liga atm. Hope it gets better

He is probably thinking "Ah, I'll just let C. Ronaldo have his moment. I think I'll start scoring again soon, but for now, let him shine. I'll just do some assists in the meanwhile."

Also lol at the referee... a Malaga player kicks another Malaga player and the freekick goes in favour of Malaga

Fiorentina dropped points at home too... what a tricky round. Aquilani scored a hat-trick though... :worship:

You guys probably haven't noticed but Messi's been playing on a slightly different position since he came back & it's only natural after such long lay off. It's tricky though... we'll see if they change that even when he's 100% fit.

I would really like to see Messi on any other team besides Barcelona :shifty:

You'll see him playing for a totally different type of a team in the summer homie... :y: Possibly winning too.

I think it's time for him to move on, if he's that good he should try different teams/leagues...Ronaldo owned when he was with United and now with Real

Nah, Barca is Messi's place for good... his situation is very different to Ronaldo's. Barcelona's structure is nothing like Real's too... even though they are as aggressive on the market when needed.
It's priceless when teams of such high standard & with such budget have that many important players brought from their own academy. A lotta teams have been successful but not a lot of 'em have done it this way.
Pretty much only Ajax, United & Barca have been dominating at certain period of time while having that many players brought from their own academy since the CL started.

The President went out already today and said Messi is not for sale at all.

Well, according to L'Equipe, PSG has already approached Messi sr
And if somebody has money right now to beat Neymar's contract, that is the Qataris...
Not that I look for these things - just that today was one of the most unproductive days of my life and I spent at least four hours at work reading random stuff all over the internet...

:y: I know... a few teams have interest in him & could have even made offers but it wont happen 'cuz he's not for sale... maybe in his 30's but definitely not now.

Messi's just 26... which means potentially or even most likely we haven't even seen the best from him yet. It'd be absolutely insane if Barca sold him in the next 3 years esp. considering their policy.
On another note you're right Rolly... we could never be sure.

Yeah, exactly. Only possible way I could see Messi leaving is if he suddenly got all mad and hated everyone, and PSG actually bid 250 million euro.

He could consider this if it was about like a couple of years without any success but that will take time too... lol I have a feeling Argentina will win the WC to be honest & if that happens things are gonna get even more complicated.

"he's not for sale" "wont ever leave"...
Football is a business like any other. Players sell their skills to the highest bidder.
It could also be that I had a shit day today and I'm on a disgusting cynical mood...

I'm not a Barca core fan by the way... I just respect their great policy & I pay huge respect to Messi 'cuz of the phenomenal talent he is as well.
We're talking about business indeed but Barca selling Messi in the next 3 years would be nothing but bad business... I'll give you 3 solid reasons.

Barca won't be able to compete with Real & Ron if they don't have Messi...

They won't be able to replace him for a while so selling him while he's in his best would look absolutely ridiculous... Not to mention they already work hard on replacing other greats who aged.
I mean they could still get crazy money out of him in his 30's & that's still if they wanted to sell him even then.

They'd go against their own policy & will betray their very loyal fans to the full. That would be a disaster.
