That's stupid, Barcelona means more to Messi than just a football club that's like family right there. ONly way I see him leaving is if there's a fallout in their relationship. He has it all in Barca, why leave? lol

Betraying the fans is the weakest of your arguments. The fans are divided and have been so for several years. The "exiled Barca" they called it: Guardiola at Bayern and Begiristain at City (btw, I'm getting ready for Wednesday...)
I'm afraid tonight I think money can buy almost everything, including Messi's loyalty

I don't think so. Selling Messi at his best at just 26 is literally like down grading the club & rejecting success. Most of it serving more success to Real on a silver plate by doing that.
This is nothing like Guardiola's or let alone Begirstian's case... this would be easily the worst transfer in the history of football & there will be nobody who supports Barca who'd approve that.
I remember very vividly the riots & the death treats when Roma started to hesitate if they should sell Totti after Real came with that great offer... this would be worse.

I'm not comparing Guardiola and Txiki with Messi. I just wanted to illustrate the fact that there is a massive division within Barca that has been going on for several years now.
The management team has "managed" to alienate a big part of the fans. They are so useless that they could even consider selling him.

They might one day but that won't be in the next 3 years at least... & I'd even say 5 but a lotta things could happen in such period of time so I'd stay with 3 for now.
The other thing is Messi has been generating some crazy money for years which makes such deal absolutely impossible.

Well... again, Bartomeu said today that Messi is not for sale, and that they will offer him a new contract pretty soon.

I'll keep my faith in that.

Naturaly as they already look for a Xavi long term replacement & have to start monitoring one for Iniesta too as he'll be 30 years old in May.

Messi did recently state, as usual, that Barca is his home and he doesn't want to leave the club.

So yeah, I'm keeping my faith on him.

I just think that as a player you should always try new things, not stay in the same team forever, it's no disrespect to Barca, everyone knows that if it wasn't for them Messi probably wouldn't be so big as he is now...but still is just my opinion...anyway who ever thought Raul would leave Real? He played there for 16 years!

Yeah, but the guy who sued Rosell for it, has now taken it back because the numbers are out. He is happy for it.

So I guess it's up to the court now to decide if they wanna continue with the case or drop it.
