World Trade Center movie

here's the official site of this movie: http://www.wtcmovie.com/ - it's gonna hit theathers on August 9 so umm.. in 4 days for most of you, i guess we're gonna see it 2007.. :zipped:

but anyway, what you guys think about this idea? i mean making movie about this tragedy and people who survived it..

Well i seen the trailer a few days ago for the first time. At first i thought its gonna be aabout the whole story, about wat hapen on the planes the buildings all that. But as it is a story bout some cops and firefighters i think it might be decent.

Istill think its a bit too early for this movie, the directors are just trying to cash in on the event, no matter how heartless it sounds. I mean seriously, they should let a generation of young people grow up before they can show it, coz this film is supposed to be educating, and releasing it 6 years after the tragedy in a time of war with middle east, it will not only be painfull for the people that lost relatives or friends in this event but it will also spur more anger at people that might not deserve it.

i'm gonna see it too, seems to be interesting. but i think like Asp - maybe it's too early for such movie, maybe they should wait a bit more. but it was up to Americans - if they felt like making it, then why not let them do it.. :unsure:

idk bout the director/money issue, it was prolly one of the reasons why they decided to do it, but umm.. yeah, movie's gonna be ok i guess.

Whats not to Know about the director issue.. Do u think the director wanted to do this movie so early because he has a golden heart? The people that invested in the movie new damn well that if they were the first to do the movie it would make em a hell lot of money....

I say if this movie is made, the profit should go to the people that lost somebody that day.

if its not that ^ im not paying to go see this movie, out of respect for the people that died that day.

I think I'll see it, it looks like a good movie. People say it is too soon to make a 9/11 movie (about the world trade centers) but america has to get over that fact that yes we were attacked on our home land.

I still remember that day perfectly...
