What on earth are Swansea doing.

Terrible decision!

@Innovation - Still smarting about yesterday and I don't really understand Jose saying they aren't in the race. Nobody takes him seriously (on that topic) as you clearly are!

My prediction at the start of the year was that Jose would take Chelsea to the top....Hope I'm wrong.

Certainly going to be close, and as always it still blows my mind that City are even in the conversation. I remember watching us lose 2-1 at home to Stockport County when I was about 10 years old. Our keeper at the time (and my personal hero) Nicky Weaver attempted to dribble the ball past the opposing forward... :facepalm

Not at all. I completely agree that Chelsea are in the race, that's obvious! Player for player though, I think City are stronger. Jose is just deflecting the expectations, and he's right to do so. This is his first year back in charge, and we still have a lot to do.

Speaking of Ibra, he has yet another ridiculous goal to add to his already ridiculous collection.

Can anyone here who is Spanish get me Barca tickets for Barcelona vs City at the Nou Camp on 12.3.14?

City tickets have sold out so I'll have to sit with the blaugrana.

Don't care what the price is (ok that's bullshit, but you know what I mean)

How come you waited so much?? I made a search for you on Barça's webside. The tickets are sold out. They say maybe they will have more tickets a few days before the game, but I guess that's too late for you.

Edit: Barça doesn't sell tickets to opposing team fans for security reasons, anyway.

Ahh thank you. Been trying to sort out a ticket with the City fans but drawn a blank.

I've found tickets on Viagogo for 150 euros...would I have to stay undercover or could I wear my blue shirt with pride?

mmmm I've heard bad opinions about that site, I don't know if I would trust them enough to spend 150 €. In the best case is a resale. Ticketmaster is relieble but no more tickets, in Barcelona neither.

If you get them finally you would have to be undercover I think. At least at first to sit and all that. They say in the web that they don't sell tickets to fans of the opposite team for security reasons. To avoid fights...So go figure if you appear there with your blue shirt!! haha

Why not? Since when football players scratch each others? is football or a cat fight?

Then you knew more than most people... lol
The first one was quite clear but not the other two. Madrid is appealing

I think most people knew it'd be either a 2 or a 3 match ban. The decision itself was harsh but it was technically a straight red card in an off play situation.
Let's see what happens but it usually doesn't make much difference when the appeals come after the commission has already decided. I mean technically Real must have appealed right after the game for the validity of the red card first & are now appealing about the ban itself.

I agree with Emma... Ron was provoked but shouldn't have lost it like that... twice. It's not like he hurt somebody or was even aggressive & all that but did just enough to be sent off by most refs.
Too bad though 'cuz he's been sublime as of late.

I think they also took in consideration that Ronaldo did a sarcastic slap towards his face while looking at the other referee on the way out of the field.

In other news... I am so afraid that City will crush Barca.

After seeing the match for the last 10 minutes, I am pretty sure Pepe will get another yellow card lol.
