This song is awful.
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

Not to pick on you but I cant stand when people mention shit like this "Lil wayne only said nigga a couple hundred times" I don't understand why its an issue if a rapper repeats himself, it works fine in audio.

I'd die for my motherfuckin' nigga
Jump in front a bullet for my motherfuckin' nigga
On the stand I'd lie for my motherfuckin' nigga
Rob a bank, I'd drive for my motherfuckin' nigga
Real talk, I don't really fuck with too many niggas
Cause niggas drop a dime on you like a couple nickels
I be laughin' to the bank like the fuckin' money tickle
Drivin' somethin' that you ain't, top off, suck a nipple
And I never put a ho before my bro
Don't beef over no ho
And my niggas sell them keys if you can't open your door
Hope you ride for my motherfuckin' niggas
When it rains it pours, it's dry for me and my fuckin' niggas
I kill for my motherfuckin' niggas
Vice versa, eyes red from the kush I blew
White person, got my middle finger on the trigger
And with my little finger to you niggas
I swear it's fuck all y'all niggas
Except my niggas
Tunechi!

I just got 250 thousand dollars for a verse, nigga
I don't know, is it me or it's your thirst, nigga?
You nig, you niggas ain't got no joints
Like a injured Chris Paul, you ain't got no point
I just come through with a couple bossy bitches
They get money too, they some "don't cross me" bitches
Flossy bitches, Sergio Rossi, bitches
And if we at the game then it's floor seat, bitches!
I ride for my bitches
I'm so fuckin' rich I cop rides for my bitches
Dollar menu fries apple pies other bitches
I drop a freestyle and get a rise outta bitches
Bitches, my bitches
I need a nigga with some different strokes, Todd Bridges
Shout out to my main bitches, and my side bitches
Need a nigga with some good neck, ostriches
My niggas

They absolutely killed it.

My actual response was "What's wrong with that?" and you don't seem to be saying anything relevant yourself so...

And it was completely relevant. Did you think they recorded that song with the intentions of clever lyricism? Or to have fun to?

Hage, you do know that they are not rhyming the last words of every bar. Take the words before that and see if it rhymes. At the end of the day, the song is not here to be technical or lyrical. It's a party song and a catchy one too. Million times better than anything trap related.

Unoriginal,overdone, unnecessary.

I know what a fucking party song is you fucking retards, that doesn't mean that it can't suck.

This is based on your opinion though. A club song doesn't have to have good lyrics or anything, the only thing it needs is to be catchy and be popular. That's it. And the song is catchy as fuck.

Touche, then again, it sold like crazy and has over 50m views on Youtube. It blew up on vine too. If anything, it's a fact that it's catchy, otherwise it wouldn't have done all that.

Someone's getting touchy lol

These are so vague, I could just apply that to anything. What makes it those qualities though? I mean I could just say a fair amount of Nas's albums are unoriginal, overdone, and unnecessary. People have used multies before. People have rapped about the ghetto before. People have rapped about being dope. In fact, people have done that for decades! Unoriginal, overdone, unnecessary! But obviously, that would be a stupid opinion.

That's an awful and unfair comparison and you know it. Even compare the likes. About 5% of people who used the like/dislike system disliked the YG video. About 41% of people who used the like/dislike system disliked the video you posted. You can do the math yourself.

And we definitely know most of the people giving that song you provided "likes" are doing it for ironic or humour purposes. Please don't be so unreasonable and say "Nope, those likes are legit. Everyone who liked it is in fact listening to it on their iPods right now because they enjoy it" when it's obvious the cases are different.

Hage wrote:We're talking about the remix here, right? Nobody is going to hear the Wayne or Nicki verse at whatever fucking party you go to. They'll just here Quann's hook. The entire Wayne/ Nicki thing is completely unnecessary due to the song already having blown up. YG made a hit and I can't/won't deny that but what they're trying here is just overdoing a song, these guys are begging for attention here. If you do decide to remix a song that already blew up at least make something original out of it, make sure you contribute something to it that gives it extra value.

This is pretty fair to say. But I wouldn't say they're simply begging for attention. Dropping huge remixes of already blown up songs is just a thing to do, it's been that way for a couple years. The intentions here aren't to twist the song into their own recognizable smash hit, it's to generate more buzz and keep the popularity of My Nigga rising for the moment being. So I wouldn't look at this as unnecessary, they definitely wouldn't, and I don't consider this to be the type of song that even needs to be original. In regards to being overdone, any song has been because there are millions of songs released each year and there have to be major overlaps. Conceptual songs aside.
