Kanye is not really a good lyricists tbh .. the only albums that can are debatable for classic status are MBDTF and Graduation. The rest is pretty dope except Yeezus and 808

Two people who's spot are reserved in the top 5 for the foreseeable future: Em and Nas

Just two tremendous lyricists (only if they made a song together ). Both have numerous classics ad have a level of wordplay, and rapping that just is uncomparable and few others have ever reached.

That leaves 3: Hov, Pac, and Big. To me Hov is safe, the man has at least three classics if not one or two other debatable ones, sure there are some bad albums but the impact, longevity and number of good albums I just can't kick out Hov

That leaves Pac and Big to me (weird my final two are people that most find undebatable), both are legends that while great each were elevated by many to untouchable heights because of their deaths. Each mans record is flawed, Big only has two solo albums, both really good (RTD to me is classic but LAD doesn't reach that point for me) and I've heard many people argue PAC never had a classic album ( I disagree MATW, AEOM, and Killuminati were all classics.). To me I have to kick out Big just not enough work and did not have as over reaching impact as Pac did.

But I'm not kicking out any of these 5 for Kanye, Ye is top 10 at best probably top 15.
