how does this academy vote? because i heard a lot of them vote when they havent even seen all the movies (talking bout the foreign film cathegory)

i think there's two voting periods - the first for nominations where they can vote for any film and then the second period where they vote for the films that have already been nominated.

for foreign films i'm pretty sure the counties have to submit the films so i'm guessing it's very political

It was a good night. Show was entertaining, I like how Gravity took all technical categories. I'm sad cuz of Leo, tho
