I don't think MMLP2 is as good as MMLP or TES. I think it is better than SSLP. And it's good enough where if someone tried to convince me it's his best album, I wouldn't think they're crazy. I see it as a classic, even though it's way too early.
Most of the reason I feel that way is because he managed to combine the downright insane technical rapping he displayed in Relapse and Recovery with, in my opinion, his best produced album besides the Eminem Show, and something close to the feel of his first three classics. And, most importantly, I think it lived up to his name. Shock factor defined MMLP, and who wasn't shocked when they saw a comercial with the audio of Berzerk with his voice sounding like "vintage slim" and "MMLP2" on the screen? And then the monster of a song Rap God came out, where he said the notorious Columbine line uncensored. And the album came out with the Bad Guy verse, the 99 problems line in So Much Better, Headlights, and Evil Twin. It was an album of moments and it was completely insane hearing all of them for the first time.
