It's highly unlikely Eminem isn't aware he's recycling rhymes, even to this day. He just figures "fuck it, I'll recycle" because he likes the punchlines/message or whatever.

He knows all of his rhymes on his first three albums + 8 Mile Soundtrack back-to-front, due to his live performance duties...the seamless call-backs on Bad Guy are proof that he listens to his music just as often, if not more often, than us.
