Didn't Real Madrid do that? When Casillas got injured they bought Lopez as replacement?

That was a smart thing to do. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Rosell & Co.
He has actually almost ruined Barca. They look at it as business only. It used to be more than a club, but now it's a sellout with the sponsor on the kit, and maybe even when Camp Nou gets changed, they are thinking of including the sponsors name in name of the stadium..

I remember Chygrynskiy too... :y:
I guess they'll give even more chance to the young players in that period.
Bartra is probably celebrating right now... lol I think Barca have to convince Puyol to stay for another season just in case too.

Now I just hope that Valdés decides to stay in Barca for the next season.

They'll definitely have to reconsider Valdés' & Puyol's & even Tello's & Song's situations 'cuz it makes big difference now since they won't be allowed to buy new players.

What are people's thoughts on today's PSG-Chelsea game?

PSG have a decent chance to win it... it's still tricky to be honest. One of those games that could easily go both ways.

You can see most of the people here predict the score a few pages back :y:

But yeah, I hope to christ Zlatan doenst flop this time around.

:y: Yea, Ibra has scored a lot of goals this season - both in the league, CL & in Sweden. It will be interesting to see if he can perform just as good against Chelsea as he does against Ligue 1 teams. There is a huge pressure on him indeed. England in particular seems to have super high expectations ever since that Sweden-England game last year. Basically, I think people will either praise or bash his performance tonight, nothing in between, lol.

Indeed.

I think PSG has a good team and are very confident in their game. The latter aspect I think is both good and bad - in the sense that PSG seem to have a tendency of committing many small mistakes, which in Ligue 1 usually don't translate into super dangerous situations... But with opponents such as Chelsea, such mistakes can be fatal…

EDIT: That Barca punishment is only for underaged kids (lol) so it's okay to buy anyone over 18.

Are you sure? I know the penalty was because of the underage players, but I think the ban includes every player, not just only under 18

I just read it too... In this case it doesn't make any difference to be honest. It's hardly a ban. They could always find tens of adequate replacements who are 18 & older.

Exactly... I'd say PSG have the edge in this first game but at the same time I'd never bet against Mou if it's about just one game.

P.S. With 90 days to explain themselves i'm pretty sure they'll find a way out.

Chelsea were in a similar situation in 2010, but we won the appeal.

Chelsea made some agreements with the other team, or something, no?

You only had one person to deal with... Barca has 10 :(
