what's with all the hop hate? i honestly don't get it. he's a hard working, passionate, real artist. i mean yeah, he has some contradictions but so do you. and it's cool if you don't enjoy his music but this hate is unjustifiable. the dude's a genuine one-man-band backpacker, he creates every part of his music, including the label it comes through - he puts more effort into music than i could ever hope to with anything, that alone should earn him at least a little respect. but apparently i'm wrong.

What Hopsin needs to understand is that although he enjoys the music of rap, his heart is not big enough to carry a one man performing act as well as SwizZz who needs attention and upkeep in this stressful music career decision. Hopsin should consider a psychologist, as he is clearly an unfit personality who is flirting with delirious attitudes as he delves deeper into the abyss of rap song music art.

We can respect the hustle, but that isn't going to stop us from bashing on his poverty corn fest of an album.

there's some corny tracks on there, as with most artists, but there's also solid work too. do you disagree? and if so what's your definition of a solid song?

He was complaining about how hard it is to be a rapper, how much he hates the game, and coming out with a new suicidal twitter rant every 3 weeks. That's not passion, passion is working hard and loving what you're doing. His album sounded like it was half-assed. No real personality was behind the music, the lyrics sounded like something that somebody here could have written, he sounded like a monotone robot for the majority of the album, and he brought nothing new to the table musically or creatively. If you don't work to at least try something new and sound like you mean what you say, I can't imagine there was much effort being put in.
