It's not pointless. What you said only applies to owners of a webiste or company that has their own forum yet doesn't have time to be around and mod everything. Yet even then, the owner should always be accessible.

Lets say we are the official Em forum on Eminem.com. There will be admins and mods that control shit, obviously. But the owner has to be accessible if you have some things you want changed or improved. If it isn't like this, the forum will be a big mess. Basically TRshady at the moment. Why is the onwer on other hip hop forums always there ? Why are we a forum that has nobody to actually care about stuff like that. Sure we have admins and mods, but even they can't do much. On other forums, the admins have almost similar, if not as much power as the owner.
