turn off related searches in Chrome

for maybe 3 days now there is an annoying sidebar on Chrome saying "related searches" pops up every site i got to, i close out of it but it just comes back the next place i go. ive been through the settings and cant find anything that seems right. ive tried googling it but only find info regarding FireFox.

anyone know how to get rid of this?

nvm i got it. didnt realize WebCake had installed itself on my comp after getting the extension for Chromecast...
deleted it and fixed that, hopefully now i can still stream from the desktop to my tv though.
