Still probably one of the best songs I've heard in a while. Kind of a played-out concept, but the dude ran with it the entire time and it was executed perfectly.

Thought it was gonna be some boring ass introspective shit initially, nice surprise.

I don't think he'll blow though - not because he's not good - because he is - but because this ain't the 90s yo and unless shit is musically eccentric or stupidly catchy on a pop or rock level and has that kind of ''big'' mainstream feel now... it doesn't really penetrate the mainstream. I think he'll forever remain indie.

More proof that white + good doesn't = worldwide gigantic success doh @ the old Em shit, and that will continue to be proven. Because more than anything else it's because his music is REALLY catchy.

If you look at most really good rap, like, indie rap... or great rappers who don't blow... the only element they miss is the fact their songs aren't really catchy. They are great listens for fans of hiphop, but they're not ridiculously catchy music, where as... Without Me? C'mon son, people who don't like rap can't help but bob and hum the shit, it's melody to the core, and that's the difference.
