Eminem Worldwide or global sounds cool
That's why I said this....Aone10 wrote:http://www.hiphopshop.com would be dope.
Eminem goes ghost for long periods of time, having an overall hip-hop forum (with a strong Eminem/Shady Records section) would probably be the best move.
Just have a few sections dedicated to other artists (no Kanye, pleez, leave that in KTT).
Have an Eminem section, a Shady Records section, a Kendrick Lamar/TDE section, and a general hip-hop section. I think that'll help bring more people as well.
Let's face it, any Eminem forum is going to be dead every time Em goes ghost (which is quite frequent these days). Why not just have a site named after the place where Em got started, with a STRONG Eminem/Shady records section, but also have an active hip-hop fan community?
One of this site's main issues is that most members disappear when Eminem does, and only a few are left discussing in the hip-hop domain or bored out of their minds posting useless shit in the backstage, which often leads to distasteful threads started by members like Just Silver.
If you want the new forum to remain interesting, I think that's the best way to go tbh. A forum dedicated to an artist who only shows his face every blue moon is destined for doom... not to mention that we are nearing the end of the MMLP2 album cycle, it'll be a desert until rumors of another Eminem project begin to surface.
Just be selective with the artists you post news about on the main site. Cut it down to Eminem, Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, D12 (lel), Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and TDE.
Just my 2 cents.

sounds pedo
Aone10 wrote:PAINKILLƎR wrote:I agree with Aone but the site probably won't get as big seeing as Eminem is what would bring the attention.
This is probably the most talked about artist on this website aside from Em and Yela. Everyone goes ape shit anytime he does something.
Most Eminem fans like Kendrick and vice versa.
Em and Kendrick are the face of aftermath, Having a forum in which both Em and Kendrick are the focal point would be successful. Then of course you would discuss their affiliates/label mates (Dr. Dre, Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, TDE).
I think that'll work great.

You can still have a big hip hop forum even though it's an Em forum.
But then it'll be TR all over again....
Let's be honest, only a small percentage of members are really active in the Hip Hop Domain.

♢ Site Information (Sub threads containing updates, help etc.)
♢ Hip Hop Domain (General Hip Hop discussion etc.)
♢ Record Labels (Sub threads eg. Shady Records, Rhymesayers Entertainment, Strange Music Inc., GOOD Music etc.) - It'd probably be for the best to have established labels, rather than a shed load of label threads with only one established artist on the label.
♢ General Discussion (Sub threads containing world news, sports, television, film, art, gaming, comedy etc.)
♢ Off Topic (Pretty much a backstage equivalent, landfill-esque content)
♢ Writing
♢ Audio
♢ Graphics
