Top 5 or 10 Indie albums You Love

Postby KaZer » Apr 11th, '14, 00:43

I liked to listen to rare underground or old school albums/ mixtapes

I like CunninLynguists, Atmosphere, Sadistik, E&A, DCS, getting into Deltron 3030 and Dr. Octagon :y:

Just ask if you want to know more of my taste in music

Keep listening to good music!

Most indie albums are boring as fuck to me. I try to stay away from them even though I usually tend to listen to new releases.

I really like itImage

I think it's because I used to listen to it so much back then.

Just felt out of place in your top 5.

That was actually the album that turned me off from Tech.
really? it's the album that got me into him. there's so many bangers on there - riot maker, the beast, come gangsta, running out of time, welcome to the midwest, this is me, fuckin... the rain. it's top 5 for me for sure. what does it lack for you?

I agree, I got All of CunninLynguists but I have SJV 3 I would say Southernundergound is one of my favorite.

Hesky - I got TBMH & Champion by Brother ali, thats all. Only Blu I have is Flower one and don't have Shad, I never heard of the guy. Tech n9ne album was his recent ep, not the boiling point, before that.

Revolutionary - I like Copywrite, and the rest of them including Wax, RR, Grieves… I didn't check out Shad, Pharoahe Monch, Dumbfounded… I didn't really like MAYDAY as much, I have one of MAYDAY's mix tape…

What Pharoahe Monch, Shad, Wax, Dumbfounded are like…

What do you mean you have "some" Sadistik's music? I think he is dope, The Balancing Act is one of the best album of his in my book…

Having not gotten a full LP from him since 2002, I was so hyped for the album... and it was underwhelming.

Some songs on it are classic Tech, but the overall vibe and sound was just different. He began making the clubbier records and his lyrics weren't as deep as they used to be.

I kind of just stopped following him religiously like I used to after that, although I actually enjoyed K.O.D, I feel that's his third best album.
word his pre-everready sound was totally different. but he says he finally found his voice on everready when he teamed up with seven. while i do enjoy anghellic/absolute power, i don't find them nearly as exciting as his post-everready work. i feel you though, that old gritty t9x/trapped in a psycho's body stuff is awesome

yeah, that's just the shit that drew me in.

I just found it difficult to get into his newer material, though I always check his stuff out because he'll still have a few songs that I'll enjoy... but it's nothing like it was before.

I listened to some of his songs, but somehow I couldn't get into him for some reason… I like BLH though…

My favourite EP of all time :y:

Album quality stuff, Rain Water is one of the most hard hitting songs he's done.

Badass EP, for sure
